Note Regarding Transportation

Several construction projects are underway or wrapping up in New Orleans that may affect WJTA Conference & Expo attendees:

New Orleans Airport - A brand new New Orleans airport opened on November 6. All flights into New Orleans are routed through the new facility. Travelers may want to allow extra time given the continuing construction on roads into and out of the new airport. Learn more on the New Orleans Airport website.

Convention Center Construction - Construction is taking place along Convention Center Boulevard in front of the Morial Convention Center, but will not affect Conference/Expo activities or move-in/move-out for exhibitors.

Shuttles to Convention Center - Due to construction in the downtown convention center area, looping shuttles are not feasible. We suggest walking or using a taxi or rideshare if you are staying a distance from Hall J.

Taxi / Rideshare Dropoffs - Construction is taking place along Convention Center Boulevard in front of the Morial Convention Center. Taxis and rideshare (Uber/Lyft) will drop off in a new designated lot across from Hall G/H.
