Why did WJTA cancel the 2020 Expo?
Factors outside of WJTA’s control, including the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, as well as the secondary economic factors make it likely that a significant number of participants will be limited in their ability to attend a fall tradeshow.
Factors include the general economy, uncertainty in oil and gas, potential international travel restrictions and concerns for health and safety.
Will the 2020 WJTA Expo be rescheduled for later in 2020 or early 2021?
The 2020 Expo will not be rescheduled. The association will focus energy on providing increased value to our members and making the 2021 Conference & Expo the best event yet.
Will the 2020 WJTA Expo be held virtually?
The 2020 Expo will not be held in a virtual format; however, the association will evaluate additional means to connect and provide value to our members including a plan for expanded e-learning opportunities.
Why not wait until the late summer or early fall for a cancellation decision?
While there may be more clarity on the COVID-19 pandemic and the general economy, we feel strongly that the uncertainty prevents the successful execution of an event that brings value to our attendees and vendors.
Cancellation at this time allows attendees and exhibitors to plan the remainder of their year and budgets. WJTA will focus resources on a successful 2021 Conference & Expo and expanding the rollout of its recently launched Hydroblaster Training and Certification program.
When is the next WJTA event?
The 2021 WJTA Conference & Expo will be held October 26-28 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The 2021 Conference & Expo will include a daylong short course; training opportunities; a world-class educational program for contractors and asset owners; exhibits; live demos and more.

Will exhibit and sponsorship fees be refunded?
We are encouraging exhibitors and sponsors to roll over fees to the 2021 Conference & Expo. Fees will be refunded on request. To request a refund, please contact Peter Wright at wrightp@wjta.org. Please allow up to two weeks for processing of refunds.
