The health and safety of attendees, participants, staff, and our communities is the highest priority for the WJTA. The conference policies will be updated to comply with facility requirements, CDC guidelines, local restrictions and event industry best practices.

The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center was among the first convention centers to achieve Global BioRisk Advisory Council STAR™ Accreditation, a program administered by the International Sanitary and Supply Association (ISSA) and backed by prominent industry organizations.

Safety Measures

As of October 29, 2021, the mask mandate in New Orleans has been lifted with the exception of schools, healthcare facilities and public transportation. The city of New Orleans has implemented a requirement to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID PCR test result for several indoor activities, including indoor dining, bars and entertainment spaces.
